Well this one is finally finished. Super easy, straight forward build as any Tamiya kit is. Built box stock, with just a little more detail.

Paint is Gravity Colors Nissan Skyline Z-Tune Silver with Gravity Colors clear coat.  I also added the Tamiya Detail-Up set which included a lot of photo-etch stuff. In addition, I  added some self made Tamiya Carbon Fiber decals for the floor panels and rockers like on the 1:1 Z-Tune, and some steel braided lines ran for the trans/diff cooler.

Thanks for looking.

Great build of what I think is probably one of the best cars to come from Japan.

Thank you!  I have to agree, these were some monsters of a car, along with the Supra.  Those turbocharged in-line 6 cylinders are powerhouses.

Very clean looking build, I love Tamiya's quality.  Was the mesh for the grille part of the detail set or did you source it from somewhere else?

Thanks Jim. Tamiya's Quality is absolutely awesome.  You can pretty much count on no flash at all and all the molds to be perfect.

The mesh for the grille that was used was straight from the kit.  It was the thin black mesh.  The detail set came with some metal mesh, but to me it didn't look correct, plus I didn't want to have to paint it and worry about it not looking right in that aspect either.
