Saw this at a show yesterday. It is as close to perfect (IMHO, of course) as any '32 Ford I've ever seen, either 3D or in books or magazines or on TV. The only change I'd make to it would be to swap the wheels for American Torq-Thrusts, but I could even live with these if need be. SOMEBODY sure does have good taste!

I think it has the perfect stands and the rear wheels aren’t too wide like a lot of the street rods I see the only thing I would change is slightly less rake on the windshield

Was that airplane fuselage part of the show? Because if that thing is some kind wacko bus or rv, that would be the coolest thing ever.

The show was at an airport. I think they're rebuilding that airplane, but I didn't look at it at all so don't really know. There was an old T-6 "in progress" near it.

What would be on your list of requirements to define the "Perfect Deuce" ?

My list:

#1 Ford or Hemi motor

#2 If it is a Highboy it must be chopped

#3 No "mail slot chops

#4 Big and little's and no rubber band tires (tires need to have some meat on them)   and none of those skinny drag style front wheels

#5 No race cars (that would fall under the "Perfect Drag Car" category)

#6 Mildly customized

That is my top 6 (for now)

Whats yours ?

Looks like my "Perfect" above scores 5 out of your 6. All it would need would be an engine swap. B)

1) Designed and built by me.

There's just about an infinite number of ways to build a "perfect" Deuce, far as I'm concerned. And the only way to get one I see as "perfect" is to do it myself.

But these are real close...

Willing to bet the owner has a mullet, wears wife beaters and still listens to Bon Jovi.

For me, it's not really about the presence or absence of certain parts.  There are Deuces that range from full traditional to bleeding edge high tech that I thought were really nice.  The one I posted I like because it has that classic hiboy look, but the builder has stil managed to put his own spin on it.

For me, the key factor is harmony and proportion.  Does everything look like it belongs together?

For me it has to have that "wow" factor and not look like every other Deuce out there

The Black 5 window in the original post is cool but I see the same thing  everywhere. The Green Roadster while not yet perfect for me does draw my eye to it as something built with some individual taste

I didn't see anyone who looked remotely like that all day. (Kind of a nasty thing to say, too.)
