shoopdog Posted November 10, 2019 Share Posted November 10, 2019 Completed my box art build of Revell's 65 Impala finished with Tamiya rattle can Silver Leaf with Testor's Wet Look Clear over that. Went together rather well except I did have a little trouble with the finicky rear end assembly. I forgot to add a drop of dish soap to the decal water so I was unable to get the left side pinstripes to slide into the correct position. Thanks for looking and any comments welcome. The paint finish is great looking. An aside on the Decals. I notice the decal "409" emblems on the front fenders. If you should want to correct that minor issue a couple of kits that could supply you with the 396 emblems include the Revell '66 El Camino and Station wagon.
