bbowser Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 The last one I'll get finished this year, still have a couple on the bench. I really enjoyed building this, the engine was a little fidgety with the intake horns and drilling out the tailpipes was an adventure. The kit came with real metal springs for the rear suspension. Although it looks frail it is actually pretty rugged. I painted the rising sun as I was afraid the supplied decal wouldn't conform. All in all I'm pretty pleased with it. Honda's first F1 victory in 1965 at the Mexican GP. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
Nacho Z Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 Great looking Honda you've got there, Bruce! I have this kit as well as a few others in different scale. Overall, did you find Hasegawa's kit to be a good one? Again, great looking F1!!
Rich Chernosky Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 This kit is not as easy as it looks. You did a great job with it Bruce. If you wanted to hear loud you should have heard this baby run. It was an earsplitter.
