Oldmopars Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 I am attempting to finish off a few projects before the end of this year. This is one. It is a MAN F2000 6x4 that started life as a high roof sleeper cab. I removed the high roof and cut the cab down by about 2 scale feet to make a day-cab. I added engine details, and a flat bed from the Dodge 700 trailer kit. A bundle of boards for a load and we are done. I had to create the roof from scratch as there is no conversion for this kit. The story is that Oakland Construction is growing so much that the owner decided to expand. However the UK is too expensive so he opened a branch in the Czech Republic. This is the delivery truck he is using for that location. I know the purists will find fault, I don't have a lot of knowledge of Euro trucks, but enjoy building them anyway.
Tankman Posted January 4, 2020 Posted January 4, 2020 I like it looks good Scott. I've been wanting to build a European Truck myself.
Oldmopars Posted January 5, 2020 Author Posted January 5, 2020 Thank you all for your comments. These Italeri trucks are fun to build.
