PatW Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Yet another Tamiya Scooby Rally car, with my own interior colours! With a little bit extra of yellow in places! 1
johnyrotten Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Scratched up an ls swap for my next build. Engine and transmission mounts, and a road race oil pan. I managed to scrape together the ls with a tko 5 speed from the parts bin.
PatW Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Update, a few lamps and decals. My own colours on this one and mudflaps! 1

Ulf Posted May 22 Posted May 22 Any year, but at least it's getting closer to completion. Not the best picture either… 3
johnyrotten Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Narrowed a set of wheels and started building a tubular irs framework. 2
Ulf Posted May 25 Posted May 25 A slightly pretentious still life, it was the first time in many many years that I sanded a rim from the back and it went like that... all of a sudden the ring in the middle was loose but it could be fixed from the back with plasticard. Now I have to do a small flat iron and a bolt head. After this there will be a wooden tool box for jack and some tools, the Jeep is probably not very reliable. 1
Lownslow Posted May 26 Posted May 26 Working on the 62 buick changing the whole front bumper aesthetics with modern lights and a different pattern front grille, pretty much the whole car is getting redone it started with the engine bay then it spiraled. yes its gonna be on 34" tall wheels. 3
PatW Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Chassis of Revell Mercedes Benz AMG. Buttercup Yellow spray coming tomorrow for body! 2

johnyrotten Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Somehow i pulled off a nice slick coat of primer with minimal debris. Still a long way to go, but pleased with the results. First time using this airbrush from my cheap set-up. 1

meechum68 Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I got the new table for my office bought and will soon set up the paint booth and paint racks. Still have to get good lighting on the work area. No actual kit work but got the table bought and will be doing office work next week. 1
PatW Posted June 2 Posted June 2 (edited) A few decals, that were for a GT3 racing version which is twice the price of this kit. So a bit of cutting decals to fit! Especially around the doors! Edited June 2 by PatW 2 1
