JollySipper Posted Tuesday at 06:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:32 PM Final primer on the NSX.......... Rustoleum primer really is good to work with. It sands smooth and holds up to the lacquer paints really well. Just steer away from using their paints for bodies! This will get DupliColor.......... 3
Ace-Garageguy Posted Tuesday at 09:03 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:03 PM (edited) Not much, but seein' as how I needed to clean the bench off again to do more work on the 1:1 DeLorean panel, and as I'm inspired by Dave B's Cheetah build, I figgered I'd do a quick mockup of my Cox Cheetah, the same basis Dave started with. Wheels and tires are from an Accurate Miniatures GS Corvette, maybe a little too heavy for the Cheetah. ...and as I had the oven cleaner out anyway, I stripped it before putting it back on the shelf of doom. This one was a complete slotcar. Edited Tuesday at 09:39 PM by Ace-Garageguy 4
meechum68 Posted Wednesday at 02:18 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:18 AM Check my post on the 47 Chevy Aerosedan. But here's what else I got done, some work on the wife's 57 Fairlane. Color is Pink/Gold Iridescent PS-47 over Tamiya Pink Primer. Funny part is ... under some light it looks copper/brassy, under other it looks like Rose Gold. I hope I don't have to throw it in the pond again for another color change. Wife is unsure about it atm. If she keeps it like it is, I have to do some wet sanding, I got some finger prints in it, and a couple dust bunnies, then will reshoot it, if not then pond and another color choice. 2

meechum68 Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM Posted yesterday at 12:55 AM No pics, but did some grinding on the inside of the 47 front fenders, and it looks like I will have to do a bit more to get things to sit, will likely post tomorrow after I get more bench time.

meechum68 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Beautiful @gtx6970 I agree about taking pics, let's you find things you miss.
meechum68 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Got some more trimming done on the 47, and the wife is gonna have me tank the Fairlane, she didn't like the color, but I will be doing that car again with that same color cuz it looked fantastic. I got a little bit of suspension done on the Fairlane, and tires and rims lined out. Will assemble them tomorrow likely and start doing more work on the engine to at least get the engine/frame fully ready. Will have to do some painting on the frame for some detail stuff.
