geetee66 Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 That's really nice. I especially like the vinyl interior. You can almost hear the squeak of someone getting in. great photos too. They do your excellent build real justice.
Brudda Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Classic and Beautiful!!!! What a car! We’re there any issues? This model is truly inspiring.
YBlock292 Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 Thanks, everybody! Bruce: No issues at all. The kit was fun to build.
Ron Hamilton Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 That looks fantastic! At first , I discounted the kit as toylike. But after seeing stellar builds, such as yours, I bought another to build at a later date.
Monty Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Sorry I'm late to the party. I meant to compliment you on this when you first posted it, but somehow never got around to it. IMNSHO, your color choice paid off in spades because it's not only attractive, it's vastly different from what we usually see used on these builds, making it stand out in a crowd. Anyone not fully familiar with Oldsmobile's paint colors for that year might also assume it's a period-correct hue. In addition, your detailing around the grille area, the (Fireball?) door handles and whatever means you used to accent the depth of the door and trunk lines help lend to the overall realism. Pose a build like this in front of a garage diorama background like yours and...voila'.
YBlock292 Posted March 20, 2020 Author Posted March 20, 2020 Thank You guys, I appreciate Your comments! Monty, thank You very much for Your "analysis" of my build!
