Rbray47 Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Built from the Firestone kit. Scratchbuilt flatbed and 2" reciever. Monogram rims and 302 from the revell 32 Ford.
vincen47 Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Beautiful truck, I like the color scheme. Engine looks great too.
Plowboy Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 That's a cool looking old Ford truck Randy! I like the color scheme on it! I could see myself driving something like that around on the farm. Are the tires from the kit? They suit it perfect!
espo Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Great looking paint and trim. The Flat Bed is really a standout here. This looks way to nice to put to work. There're several newer trucks like this around here but they're all "Burning Coal" with a 2 foot diameter stack coming up behind the cab. I like yours much better.
Rbray47 Posted March 3, 2020 Author Posted March 3, 2020 Thanks guys! Yeah, those are the kit tires (plus 2 more) These trucks take a lot of work to correctly replicate a 78/79. I got as close as I could, as the bumpers are wrong for these years.
LouO Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Very nice, and good choice of colors. Great photos too!
mchook Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 I love this truck! Great colors, really nice body & I love the trim work on the sides. I drove one like it as a kid only mine was green.
Hotrod 97 Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Beautiful build, Randy. Nice work on the flatbed.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Looks great! You know how to capture this era of Ford pickup!
