WOW - beautiful kit. One of my all time favourite cars. I actually considered buying an SM when they were going for about $10000. As close as I got was buying a book on the SM's and a 1/43 diecast. I would love to get this model but the price is too rich for me.

I saw it popping up online and loved it. When I was browsing through the pictures, I was really interested in getting one, but at 180 dollars, I find that too steep. I'd rather save that money for the Meng GT40 or new Italeri Delta.

Factoring in exchange rates and everything,  as much as I like SMs, I don't like them that much.

Now if someone like Ebbro were able to keep it south of three figures, I would be a customer.

I think if I added to the stash of 150 kits, 3 Revell London buses and a few resin transkits, when I'm not actually able to get any building done atm, I'd probably be kicked out of our London home and be living on my own back in the Midlands, although I've been given special dispensation to buy a couple of Revell E Type Jaguars later in the year.....

As much as I loooove the SM, that's a bit more than I'm willing to spend on a curbside 1/24 kit. That's not too far off of what I just spent for the Italeri 1/12 Alfa 8c.

I'm back up there on Friday, it would have been Moms birthday on the 25th, so need to go and put flowers on her grave, I might stay up there for a few days to see if I can some work done on the Revell Land Rover, it's kind of weird down here atm, it's so quite, not your normal crowded London.

For what you are getting in the kit,  and for the quality of the parts, that is actually not a bad price.
