cobraman Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Another project . Jimmy Flintstone resin body to me mounted on a funny car chassis from a die cast with a few mods.
cobraman Posted April 7, 2020 Author Posted April 7, 2020 Thanks Carl . Bored at home even though retired this feels different . Just trying to use stuff I have on hand and not watch so much news . Got the body painted and added decals . Still need to shoot the clear and finish that weird front end piece.
skymnky721 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 That kicks ass!! really cool idea blending the 2 kits. neat
cobraman Posted April 10, 2020 Author Posted April 10, 2020 This ‘thing’ is finished . This is what happens when your stuck in the house and are not sleeping well .
slusher Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Love the paint Ray, keep those builds going. I am not sleeping well myself...
Ian McLaren Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 Can't say I've seen one done like this before, but I really like the results, well done
Ralph Henderson Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 well that looks like it was fun!! Nice job Ray!
Modlbldr Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Very cool looking build. I like these paint and the funky nose piece. I came over to the drag section looking for ideas like this one for a chopped and sectioned 39 Ford Sedan body that I have. I think I've found my answer although my plan is for an older 50's- 60's style rail. Perhaps the Tony Nancy 22Jr. Later-
cobraman Posted April 12, 2020 Author Posted April 12, 2020 Thanks Tom. I used the long dragster from the Tony Nancy kit for the Studebaker fuel coupe in this section somewhere.
