Scalper Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 Stared this kit a week ago. Decided to post WIP’s again. I think it’s from the first release 1985. Fist painted it silver then lawyer down some black pearl paint. Paint is a bit rough and i scratched the roof. She will have some slight age to her now. Chassis completed plus front and back end. Working on the interior now. Thanks for looking all comments welcomed

espo Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 While the kit it's self wasn't a super detailed kit, it sure builds up looking like it is. I built one years ago and just polished the red plastic and foiled it.

Scalper Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 Chassis body now as one. Was a little tight but managed not to break anything. Gotta get that cat hair inside the front glass thanks for looking. All comments welcomed
bisc63 Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Great looking car, great looking model. Those old Monogram kits are fun for sure; look at the parts in the box and you might think it plain or ovr-simplified, but built right and detailed with paint they really impress! This one, I always felt, was one of their best efforts in their 1/24 line.

Scalper Posted April 28, 2020 Author Posted April 28, 2020 Think I figured out back up lights. Painted flat aluminum first the white. Did the outer edge with a 005 Micron pen. Then gently rubbed with my finger What do you guys think. Time to Molotow the bumper
