Art Laski Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Salvino's JR Models had a Box Stock Build off going on FaceBook on their page, where you have to build one of their models out of the box using their decals also. Since, I have been a dealer for Salvino's since they launched, carrying their products at ScaleProShop.com, I thought I would jump in with their latest release. This is the "Bobby Allison Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1982 Race Winner", which is a Digard Gatorade car, similar to the Buick Regal they also campaigned. It's the "flat nose" car, which has not been previously released. This is a Monogram 1/24 kit that was reworked by Salvino's, that was previouly issued with the SS nose, which is also included in the kit. Kit available at ScaleProShop.com!

randyc Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 Great work. But I gotta say the wheels/tires are the absolute most realistic I have ever seen. You nailed those! How did you get the chrome wheels so "right"?
Gary Davis Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 Man Art...you really nailed this one...Great job!! The build looks outstanding....
Art Laski Posted October 12, 2020 Author Posted October 12, 2020 Thanks, Gary! Just a quick box stocker to get something done! Hope you're well and building on!

I hear you on getting something finished. I'm STILL working on Teresa's 72 Chevelle pro stock car. I'm 3/4 finished with it. I'll get it done this month..hopefully...LOL Susan and I are doing ok up here. Haven't got the COVID and don't really plan on it either. It sure will be nice to get back to going to some shows and Ka-bitzing with folks and seeing some killer builds.
Goodwrench3 Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 How was the fit of the new flat nose piece on the body ?
Lunajammer Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Sorry Art, I guess I don't get to this section often enough, but I have to comment that you really know how to do race cars. It's amazing what you can bring to even a box stock build. Really wonderful.
