You'd only see it one day every year, in our town's 4th-of-July parade. The same girl riding in the backseat waving to everyone... I think she was the owner's grand-daughter. There was controversy that Pontiac had really butchered the 1968-69 body style! My uncle was an investor in a Pontiac dealer back then and as part of that he got upgraded to a new car every year. I remember him refusing to turn in his 69 for one of these! The design has mellowed with me through the years. I have the recent convertible kit plus an extra to use with a resin coupe body I own.
