I'm amazed they have them AT ALL.

Looks like a trip to HL for me tomorrow.

Yeah, I guess it has to be a TV car to get stocked there anymore.

Oh, they also had some kind of farm tractor that I hadn't seen before(not interested).

Maybe the Revell Deutz farm tractor.  I just bought one of those from an online vendor.  Which is the quickest way to get anything into Hobby Lobby - let me buy one without a 40% off  coupon.

I waited months for HL to stock the Revell Porsche farm tractor.  Finally broke down and bought one online.  The next time I went into HL, there it was on the shelf!

No joy. :(

Bummer.

I doubt their buyers have seen the show, or know what it's about after 15 seasons. LOL. I've seen one episode, and I'm not diving down a rabbit hole to get caught up on all that.

My store had fairly full shelves, I think only one empty slot. So either they just didn't get the Impalas in yet, OR they got them in and sold out already. I'll try again next week.

Meanwhile, I've been stocking up on Model Master enamels while I can still get them.

The store that is on my way home from work had one (repeat: had one, had none after I was there).  That was the only new kit they got in since reopening a couple of weeks ago.

Now to drag out the brochures...was the four-door hardtop available with bucket seats and console?  Wheel covers...fake mags from the Lindberg '66 Chevelle, or wire spoke from the Polar Lights '64 GTO?  Next, check my MCG photoetch stash to see if I have the '67 Impala set, then think about adding a vinyl roof to really load this thing up...

Shelves were kinda bare at mine....then I saw 4 HUGE boxes at the end of the isle. The top one was open, kits!!! It was re-stock stuff...nothing I really needed and the other boxes had kits on top but I didn't dig through them...none were priced yet so if I grabbed one it would be a hassle at check out. So maybe I'll go again next week.....our new Ollies  near the house did open today.....come on model dump!!!!!

I'm going to say that the fake mags were available on the four door Impala hardtop - but they would be 14" wheels and drum brakes.  I had them on a 1967 Caprice wagon.  I hated the idea of imitation mag wheels, but they sure looked sharp with whitewalls on that car.

I stopped in HL today, and I couldn't believe it. The new Supernatural Impala already on the shelf! So I just paid $41 for a kit I could have gotten for less than $20! That really sucks, I thought it would be months before they got them.

Mine doesn't.  It does have the amt 40 Ford sedan  and revell  69 boss 302.

It's not only christians that shop there.  I am a believer and have heard of it before this kit was announced.

I was referring to the store buyers, the people that buy product from vendors to sell. Not about customers. Corporate seems somewhat vehement in particular beliefs.

Your nor my beliefs are associated with comment. Be well.

Mark, it doesn't look like buckets were standard option on the Impala. Didn't look at Caprice. But if they fit, do it.

It's the Revell  Porcshe diesel farm tractor series kit.

Yeah, I dug out the brochure...looks like no bucket seats in non-SS Impalas.  That's a switch from '66...one of my brothers parted out a '66 Caprice four-door hardtop, and I'm certain he got a pair of buckets, a console, even the gauge package out of that car along with a four-barrel 327 and Turbohydramatic.

Anyway, the MCG photoetch set has non-SS Impala scripts included.

The HL here has had the Mustang for a long time, and the 40 Sedan for a lot longer.

I put the options and specs link over there too. Didn't think I needed one, but really like what I see.

Wish AMT made a 2 door '67 Biscayne with an inline 6 and a 3 on the tree instead of the 4-door Impala..... Oh, well.... Can't have it all... ?
