Last night's progress while Zooming with SamIAm. Model building and good company. Hard to beat it!

Got the rear airbags made. I had to redo the support bracing for the bags. Where I had it made them too tall. Still a bit long for bags but I believe once its all painted black it won't be so noticeable.

Also did some more work on the grill. Replaced the molded in bars with flat styrene and brass rod. Just three more rods to install and the grill is done.

Great work thus far Tom. I've built models of Square Bodied Chevy and GMC trucks before but the one in the first photo is the first that I've seen with the engine molded into the body. What brand is it?

Pretty sure it is the Revell tow truck because of the visor. Revell 1/25 '77 GMC® Wrecker Truck Plastic Model Kit | Model truck kits ...

Thanks for replying to that post for me. I had typed all of that info in about that cab on Saturday but must have forgotten to hit "Enter". I'm pretty sure that is the cab. I need to dig through my stuff and find it because I have the rest of that kit-minus the cab- in its box in one of my bins.

I got tired of trying to get this thing to "sit and stay" while trying to mock it up for working things out. So, I dug out some magnets that I have. I placed some on the firewall and hood, between the cab and bed and at the rear of the chassis and bed. Now it all stays where I put it and goes back to the same location every time.

I also got some front airbags scratched up.
