1320wayne
With one current project now set off to the side while the paint and clear fully cure I decided to get back to another build that was started almost 9 years ago. This is a phantom schemed 63 Pro Mod Vette using a resin body that I created, a scratchbuilt chassis and homemade graphics along with lots of added detail. The build was coming along nicely until a massive failure with some old clear coat. I put the build away only to take it back out a few years later and try again only to mess up the paint work a second time. Back in the box once again. Now, I have a newfound motivation to finally get this right and bring it to completion. Here are some pics of where the build once was. And now where I'm at with fixing the paint work and continuing on with the build. It includes rescribing the door lines and relocating the exhaust opening. It's Spaz Stix Flourescent orange. The funny thing is that when I turn out the lights over my workbench this thing almost glows in the darker light. Claude Thibodeau
Hi! Great car! What was your technique for the flames on the hood & top? Are these modified decals, or one-off stuff you made? They look different and unique! CT

Thanks for the infos. I am NOT familiar with archery... Do you mean a material to wrap or "decorate" the body of an arrow? CT
misterNNL
It's a shame that drag racing is such an expensive sport to participate in. That situation necessitates having to sticker bomb your beautiful car with a bushel basket of your sponsors' decals. Darn shame to clutter all that coolness with sticker litter. Beautifully creative model. Thanks for not letting this die in the box.

1320wayne
Fuel cell and fuel lines are complete. I also checked to ensure that the front clip would still fit with all of the added detail.
