Tamiya Peugeot 206

Just finished up on the Tamiya Peugeot 206. This was my first Tamiya build in many years. Fun kit to build with very few problems. I did add the Studio 27 photo etched set. Thanks for looking.

That came out very nice! Reminds of the days when I watched the WRC on SpeedTV, or whatever they called it then. I've got that kit in my stash - one of these days, I hope.

This isn't what I think of when I hear "Peugeot".  That's really cool.  Is this a rally car?  My wife once told me we should drive rally.  I told her she was insane!

Yes, this car competed in the World Rally Championships. It was driven by Gilles Panizzi and finished in second place in the 1999 San Remo Rally.

I know for a fact those decals were a real terror, and you did a great job on them. Looks great.

try search up Gilles panizzi, there are several clips around.. on onboardcdlips, you can see that he hardly blinks an eye throughout a complete rallystage.. Definetly a true talent.. With a very brave brother by the way, as he was codriving him throughout his WRC career?

Nice! Got to finish my Gronholm version. Tamiya models are always good kits but there is so much detail that it takes awhile to get done. Great work on those decals too.
