Hi David!

Thanks for the comments.

If you magnify the pics, you'll realize that the slightly darker accents on the pleats of the seats were done just by gently dragging the very pointy tip of a lead pencil in the grooves. It imparts a dark line at the bottom of the crease, and some softer rubbing on the sides. Easier than trying to wash them with contrasting colour, in my experience...

Thank you for the tip. I have been using a thinned application of Tamiya Panel Line Accent in the past but I'll try this next time.

Good, if it can be of any help!

Nice concept, Claude! And as usual a beautiful work! I was thinking about to do something similar with one of these XK kits, too, since I saw Chip Foose´s customized E-Type roadster not long ago...

Hi Oliver!

Thank you for the comments. Please, go ahead! Those flowing designs were great to start with, so it is easier to do something nice. Actually, it is more what you take off the car. not what you add! Funny...

Such a cool concept, and superbly executed. I'd love to see someone do this on a 1:1.

Hi Sonny!

Thanks for the comments. Well, I suppose, if you could find one on this side of the pond... And then again, you'd probably get sued for madifyinbg a rare original. Oh well,,,
