Tiger89 Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I had fun with this old kit, having done the re-release from the mid 90s in the old-style box. It's since been out one more time around 2004 or so. It had a lot of useful extra parts, like a stock car roll cage which I used for another project.
Tiger89 Posted August 10, 2020 Author Posted August 10, 2020 The 2004 re-release should be able to be found for less than $30. The '63s are much rarer and hard to find.
espo Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Looks great. Interesting exterior color combination with a smooth finish. Considering the "Bottom Plate" for lack of a better term for the chassis your detailing and painting adds a lot to its appearance. These old 3 in 1's were a treasure trove of extra parts.
doorsovdoon Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Nice old kit. Colour combo is good, I like that.
Chuckyg1 Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Nicely done. Love the car combo. You're right about the extra parts, I used the custom wheel covers on revell's 49 merc.
