That color is amazing!  Love it!

Glad you like it. It got a bit darker once I cleared it though.

Where you lost others is where you picked me up, love the wheels and engine choice. Cool build.

Thanks much Eric! Glad you think like I do.

So, I know this looks a mess right now and I'm starting to feel like I'm taking two steps back. I cut the rear frame rails down to get a bit more clearance for the axle. Not much extra, but every little bit counts. Also removed the fuel tank. I'll replace it with a thin sheet of plastic to replicate a tank in the trunk. Looking to scratch up a triangulated 4-link.

Working on this tonight. Got the fuel tank in yesterday. I need to get some bolt heads around the flange.

Tonight I started on the rear suspension. I found some white metal parts that I will need to cut the length of the rods down quite a bit. Just finished making some pockets for the brackets. I still need to box in the recessed area for the rear end.

I decided to remove the white metal rods and I will replace them with some tubing that I have at work. It doesn't bend like the white metal does so it will keep its shape over time. Unfortunately there is not a lot of room for the rods to be very long at all but, I suppose that will be ok.

Looks better with that factory tank removed. ?

Thanks Sam.

Today I added some "bolt heads" to the tank.

Also, I took some scrap PE, cut it up and bent it to shape to replace the white metal 4 link bracket blobs. I'm also scratching up some 4 link arms. Hopefully it will look much better.

Looking good, Bud!!!.....clever using PE scrap!!!

Thanks Dann. BTW- I'm still sorting through that box! Lol.

It's been a while since an update. I had a buddy trim the aluminum wheel rings to width for me on his lathe. Now I can get back to suspension work. Today I sprayed the accent color on the hood, chin and rear deck spoilers. I think it looks good!

LOL!....Dont know how you want me to deal with the shipping.....i have ALOT of window sets that are all in Ziploc freezer bags(its the very first thing i do when i open new kits). The problem is that it will weigh, and cost you more for shipping, but who wants a bunch of scratched glass?

I am hoping you can keep that killer stance.

Going to try, even if I just have to set it on the wheels! Lol?

Been slowly pecking away at this over the last week during lunch breaks. Got the wheels finished and plugged up the gaping hole on the topside of the rear axle. Won't be able to see much of it but, at least it isn't wide open.

Today I managed some detailing on the engine bay. Also got the final color on the chassis.

Once again, I really really like this!!

I don't like to post my own pictures in other folks build threads but want to share this one...I started it years ago before my most recent building hiatus. Not much to it so far but the plan was combining a late model Challenger interior and drivetrain with it. So far just have wheels/tires/stance set up on it. Hopefully I'll get back to it one day and can get it on par with yours!
