k100
After seeing all the great looking Freightliner cabovers lately I thought I would try my hand at one , I started by lowering the head lights ( I could have went a little lower ) , cut open the doors , narrowed the front axle , swapped in a Peterbilt rear suspension. That’s all for now Be safe .

vincen47
Lowering the headlights is a huge improvement in itself, not to mention the other things you’ve added and swapped. Edited October 19, 2020 by vincen47
ReduitRetro
Looks good, I forgot about lowering the headlight buckets on my build, but at least I remembered to narrow the front axle. I have another of these old vintage kits in my collection slated to be built (as a well used and somewhat abused unit), and plan to open the doors as well. I'll be looking forward to seeing this build to completion.
k100
Thank you Jim for the comment . Vincent I think I could have moved them down just a little more , it’s better than it was before . Reduitretro I hope mine turns half as good as yours did . X2! The Freightliner can be a great kit with some essential mods.

Chariots of Fire
What did you have to do to narrow the front axle?
Bills72sj
I never knew the headlights were too high. I just wanted them to be rectangular.
