Hello from Far Northern California

I have come back to the hobby again after a long absence (15-20 years) and am enjoying every day. I bought my first kit in 1959 from the neighborhood general store, an AMT '58 Ford. Yeah, I'm really old! My eyes and fingers don't work as well as they used to but my skills are good enough to produce satisfactory results.

I've been enjoying this site for six months or so and find that it keeps the fire burning to finish the next project.

I've heard that one and I tell kids about the pet dinosaur I had as a child. But hey, we paid $1.29 for our first AMT models. 

It is amazing that I've loved and made model cars for 61 years! Wish I still had all of them.
