landman Posted January 4, 2021 Author Posted January 4, 2021 Almost ready for primer. I found some hooks on some junk frame rails, those will be added to the ends of the tube.
landman Posted January 10, 2021 Author Posted January 10, 2021 (edited) And so here it is in primer. I t will stay like this until I find out what truck it will sit on which will also dictate which color it will be. Edited January 10, 2021 by landman

landman Posted January 13, 2021 Author Posted January 13, 2021 Looks like a decision has been reached. I will attempt to duplicate (or imitate) this.
gotnitro? Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Very nice !!!! Theres something about these old trucks I really enjoy , they seem to have character i guess
AmericanMuscleFan Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 It doesn't matter which cab you choose, it's to put your great job on the twin-boom wrecker up front (even if it's in the back...)!!!
misterNNL Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 For those attempting this or any other build requiring gears, I have an unusual source for finding nearly a dozen gears in one place. I will list the sizes in the "tips and tricks" section in a few minutes for those interested.

GLMFAA1 Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 Got a chance to dig out the ALF/Holmes and took a shot of the boom lock. I cheated and did not use Phil's plan on the lock. I used a simple C channel with a single piece from the other boom to fit inside and then pinned it through a hole hope this helps. greg

DRIPTROIT 71 Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 Did I understand that you are going to fabricate the cab yourself?
