crossfire 2004 Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Finally received my resin Moon discs from The Parts Box in Australia so calling this one done. Revell ‘37 Ford kit with engine, trans and front axle from the Speedwagon kit, diamond stitched bench seat from a ‘40 Ford pickup. Decals were supplied by My Custom Hot Wheels in Australia. I think it would make a great tow truck for my Futura Bonneville race car.
espo Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Both beautifully finished. You need to build a matching trailer this year for these two.
Claude Thibodeau Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Hi Stuart! Good design, great execution. Bravo! CT
Casey Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Those two work well together. I would strongly recommend Parts by Parks Moon discs, which are aluminium and of excellent quality, in case you want to try them on a future project.
Tom Geiger Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 So much yellow there! Looks great.. funny thing, I was working on my yellow trailer today!

Thanks Casey, I did consider them ( in fact I would have preferred them) however they were far more expensive than the resin items and after adding postage to the U.K. they’d have cost far more than the kit.
cobraman Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Great models ! A nice trailer would be a cool addition,
