Jim B Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Normally I only manage to complete a model every other year, or so it seems. This year I managed to get 10 completed! I think that's a record for me. Anyway, here they are:: 1: 1964 Pontiac GTO 2: 1948 Ford Deluxe convertible "Greased Lighting" 3: 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 4: 1974 Kenworth W900 5: 1957 Ford Custom 300 Gasser 6: Republic P-47-D Thunderbolt (1/144 scale, not terribly happy with this one) 7: 1976 Plymouth Valiant Scamp short-Track Late Model Sportsman 8: 1969 Plymouth GTX 9: 1966 Ford Mustang 10: 1974 Fruehauf PB-80-F2-40 Flatbed Trailer (shown with 1976 GMC Astro/95 completed in 2010) Well, there you have it. I guess I'll just have to see with 2021 brings.
Bills72sj Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Very nice! I would love to have that KW in my display case.
Pete75 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Nice factory you've got going there! I knew that was from Grease!! ?
Jim B Posted January 6, 2021 Author Posted January 6, 2021 Thanks, guys. I really appreciate the positive comments. I was on a tare there for a while in 2020, and I've already completed the first of 2021. Grease is the Word!
espo Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 I like the variety of subjects. Nice clean looking builds. I like that you kept the GTO as a post two door instead of a hardtop.
Jim B Posted January 6, 2021 Author Posted January 6, 2021 Thanks, guys. David, that Monogram GTO was actually a really nice build. My inspiration for that build was the 1964 song "G.T.O." by Ronnie & the Daytonas.
Hmann68 Posted January 7, 2021 Posted January 7, 2021 They all look great! That KW really stands out ?
TooOld Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Great variety of subjects and excellent work on them all ! Looking forward to more in 2021 .
doorsovdoon Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 Beautiful collection of builds and all looking very cleanly done, very nice work. I love the trucks, especially the GMC Astro with trailer.
