bobss396 Posted June 21 Posted June 21 I saw a stray orange cat yesterday at a shopping center, following some lady meowing at her. If it was kitten-ish I may have grabbed it.
bobss396 Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Hanging out with my girlfriend's cat Brie. She's petite compared to her sister, but what a lap cat! 3 1
1972coronet Posted June 25 Posted June 25 April Miles, 24-6-2025 . This is my Emily's sister. She ostensibly inherited the darker charcoal marques , as well as their daddy's physique ( Emily is still a pipsqueak ) . 4
oldcarfan Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Here's our new boy kitten Charlie. We think he's about 8-9 weeks. He likes to sleep with one of our dogs. Bernie is a female Corgie/Jack Russell and Charlie seems to see her as a mother figure. Bernie is amazingly tolerant of it even though the attempts at nursing confuse her. Fia, our main cat isn't being mean to the new arrival but she's not happy either. She's ignoring him and hoping he'll go away. 8 1

Any issue telling them apart (as in the striped ones...) ? They must be a lot of fun. Edited Tuesday at 11:09 AM by bobss396

Of those four, one has calico markings and is the only female, one of the gray tabbys is fluffier than the others, and the last two have identical markings but one is slightly bigger than the other. 1
meechum68 Posted Wednesday at 02:12 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:12 AM This dapper man, was my best friend of 13 years, Buster ... I lost him on Nov 1st to Cancer. I miss him fiercely. I want another orange long hair boy, but atm, I am still having a hard time with him being gone. He was the best one brain celled menace ever! 4 1

I miss him fiercely. My wife and I lost 2 beautiful sisters from the same litter cats to coyotes 4 years apart, the last on in 2016. Due to the heartbreak, emotional pain and feelings of loss, especially for my wife, I swore we'd never get another pet. Last November, a client of a friend of my wife's was moving into an assisted living home and needed to find a new home for Hannah, a 5-year-old. Where we live, coyotes regularly poop in our driveway. As it turns out, Hannah has always been an indoor cat and, other than looking out of a couple of windows, shows no interest in going outdoors. It didn't take her long to adopt us and become VERY affectionate and to carve herself a VERY deep place in my heart. We still miss TC and Gizmo deeply, but the benefits of Hannah being part of our family IMMENSELY outweighs the grief. 5 1
bobss396 Posted Wednesday at 11:07 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:07 AM My sister had an orange cat named Poppy. He was quite the character, he would hiss at the mailman through a front window. Sadly she lost him at age 8. Her last cat, a Maine Coon, she lost a year ago. She says no more cats. 3
Volzfan59 Posted Thursday at 08:01 PM Posted Thursday at 08:01 PM This is Tom, he was in charge of external security at our house in town. His mom showed up pregnant, had the kittens and cut out after weening them. Managed to rehome all but Tom who I really became close with. He disappeared about a month before we moved into our new place in the country. Still own the place in town and I go by to see if he’s there. Even the neighbors are looking for him. Guess I’ll need another mouser out here in the sticks. 1

It was kind of funny, I was the only person that he really bonded with. He’d get in my lap and sleep or just hang out. He would tolerate my wife and others but that was about it. 1
