Before realizing an A/FX version would be coming out, I modded the fender wells, and added a cammer, engine to this one. Now I have several Beswick, and Nicholson Comets in my stash. Expand Hey Tom, can you tell me the source of the engine??

doorsovdoon Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 A mild custom I did last year. Scratch built spring shackles to raise the rear, the rear tyres are from the AMT '66 Mercury Park Lane.

realgone58 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Here's a couple of detailed promos, a '60 and a '71.
dimaxion Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 These Comets , '60 % '61 Represent two of my finished builds . Both were Glue Bomb Rescues . Modelhaus parts were used as sources for lost and the missing . NOTE , the 1:1 Taillight lenses on the '69 MU are the exact exact Part Number as the '69 Edsel . IIRC only the date Code switched from 60 to 61 in the FoMoCo Part number . These numbers were embossed into the plastic back in the day . Externally marking the Model Year . Implemented Industry wide on domestics . I sure appreciate Modelhaus . Don and Carol are such great people . Enjoy . Thanx
spkgibsonfirebird Posted August 16, 2024 Posted August 16, 2024 1967 Comet Cyclone in progress, I haven't figured out how to do the rocker trim yet.
