GunSlinger4 Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Hi, I recently started this new AMT kit. the color I chose will be turquoise I might also add a white roof not sure yet. and a black interior. I hope to have the exhaust and shocks painted this weekend
Bernard Kron Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Beautiful weathering and detailing. Ultra-realistic. Looks like the kit gives you a lot to work with. Can't wait to see more.
GunSlinger4 Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 (edited) Once the exhaust is in place I will have to fill the seam where that small cross pipe joins. Edited December 6, 2008 by GunSlinger4

george 53 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Ya know, I gotta agree with Harry about whats REAL lookin on a chassis, But Yours looks REAL enough to me! Your weathering technics are right on the money! Ya did a GREAT job on the chassis, I can't wait ta see the rest of it! If it's as nice as the chassis, I got the feelin it'll be a REAL treat! GREAT JOB, now finish that rascal up, so's we can see that sucker!
cruz Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Wow!!! Love the weathering technique, this thing is already looking awesome!!! I would love to learn how to do that kind of weathering!!!
GunSlinger4 Posted December 9, 2008 Author Posted December 9, 2008 I have the engine assembled, still lots moref to add in the engine compartment, but the underside is basically completed now. What does the decal sheet look like in the new issue of this kit? The ones in the original kits each had only a couple license plates on 'em. Did Round 2 do an upgrade? The sheet has some flames some decals for the engine and some plates.
1972 Satellite Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 This looks amazing. Are you going to display it upside down? Just kidding. Can't wait for more of this build to see the color and interior you chose.
