Dave Ambrose Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 There's been a lot of debate about like buttons with good points on both sides. But, time marches on, and customs evolve so we've enabled a like button for posts. This will help those on mobile devices, phones and tablets, to more easily participate. It will also help anyone at a loss for words. (I frequently fall into this category) If it becomes a problem, we'll revisit the question, but for now, the positives seem to outweigh the negatives. That said, I urge people not to put too much stock in your number of likes. Keep posting your builds, asking questions, or offering comments. Unlike some other places I can think of, this is generally a kind and supportive community. I'd very much like to keep it that way. 3 1 1 1
Plowboy Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 My only suggestion is to make it just one simple "like" button. I'm notorious for touching the wrong spot on my tablet. Glad to have it either way. 1
Mike999 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 The "Like" button is not showing up on my posts. I logged out and back in, but that didn't help.
Xingu Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 It's a heart that when you hover over it a menu of buttons flys out. If you don't see it, please list what device and operating system you are using.
NOBLNG Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 I get a trophy, a laughing face, a constipated face and a bewildered face as options on my i pad.
peteski Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 Yup - that's it. On a PC if you hover the mouse pointer over each, it shows you what they mean. not sure how iPad handles that.

I'm using a PC running Windows 10. 1 1
bobthehobbyguy Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 Its working correctly Mike. You aren't going to get the option to like or react to your own posts. That wouldn't make sense. If you get a reaction then you will see one of the symbols. I just added a confused symbol and you should be able to see it on your 9ost. 1
