ranma Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Thanks to Round2 (AMT) for re doing the International Transtar 4070 a. For Christmas in 1973 both my older brother and I got a built Transtar 4070 a. Our dad painted them, and our mother built them. This is a copy of the truck that my older brother had gotten for Christmas. Mine was red and white, and I had built an original ertl kit to match the one I was given for Christmas 1973. The stickers on the windshield have a meaning 173 ( the 1 stands for my brother as he was the first boy born. 73 for the year the actual kit was given) The second sticker FT.W IND means that the real truck would have been built in Ft. Wayne Indiana. That stands for the Harvester factory my dad worked at from 1962-1983 when the factory was closed. The truck was built to look like a copy of the Original Ertl kit.. 1
