I still think this and the '62 Pontiac Catalina kits were AMT's best efforts. I have always wondered what they could have offered if AMT hadn't fallen on hard times. ah, that would have been before I joined the forum then. I'll take a look back through old post for them. I'll be keeping an eye out for the '62 Catalina now, you've peaked my interest, lol.
David G. Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Beautiful work on this one! Paint, detail, assembly, it all looks great! David G.

OH and yours came out killer Edited October 19, 2021 by chris chabre
ewetwo Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 That is beautiful. One of my favorite Fords. I actually owned a 4 door hard top in my youth.
misterNNL Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Nice crisp clean result of an already great kit. I've been eyeing that kit for a future custom built wondering how a Chezoom roof clip would look.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 nice work so far on a great kit. I bought several of these for the extra parts, especially the ones with the extra motor.
Smitty Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 This looks like a very nice kit and you’ve done a really, really nice job with it! Very clean and realistic looking. I like your colour choices a lot too. Finding the right colours on stock builds is one of the hardest parts of the process for me!
thatz4u Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 very nice, I owned 3 of the real ones back in the day, too bad a resin caster didn't make a Canadian Ford grille for this one as they are much nicer looking..
Geno Posted October 23, 2021 Posted October 23, 2021 I may be one of the few but I've always liked the style of the '60 Ford and you done it more than justice. That is stunning.
doorsovdoon Posted October 31, 2021 Author Posted October 31, 2021 Thanks guys, sorry for the late reply I really appreciate the comments. I've been away for a while due to a crazy bad cold, not covid, worst one I've ever had but I'm all good now and I have another build in process, another '68 Charger! I'm looking forward to sharing it with you all. I'll post a thread on it later. 1
