Just completed my 1/21 Western Models 1957 Maserati 250F, French GP winner for Juan Fangio, added the ignition system, magnetos, cockpit details and Fred Cady decals.

In their era of racing, you had Fangio, Sterilng Moss, and Mike Hawthorne, They were the GOATS of their time. They could of driven circles around most of the drivers who have come since.

very nice 

-  for those on this site of a tender age -  this is a 45 year old white metal kit - with one of the first sets of photo etched wheels

these were bonkers at the time - now they seem dated with 3D printing tech

and it is in 24th scale

still gettable on Ebay and worth it - for the right price ,,,

Western Models a real blast from the past! This UK company made some really outstanding white metal kits and built up models in their heyday that put many other manufacturers in the shade at that time.

Surprised at the scale quoted 1/21st.      I thought that their kits were in 1.24th scale.
