Another little workhorse from yesteryear. Revell made a fine kit with this one , no fit issues. Finely detailed. I did some weathering and rust effects but otherwise out of the box.Not sure about the color though if it was factory correct but I liked the combo. The biggest mod was to open the grill and bumped it a little

WOW.....that's a looker Mario.  Love the old fat fender Chevy's.  The weathering looks great.

Very realistic looking finishes. I think the color looks correct, but remember these were commercial type vehicles and would often be painted to match a companies color scheme so it could be almost any color.

thank you all for the nice comments. I enjoy building subject that reflect what i was seeing on the roads when I was young. Being a small town boy, brand new cars were somewhat rare and there were more farmers than lawyers so old beaters were a common sight. Up here in Canada, rusty cars were more the norm than the exception and and rust protection was not a priority for car manufacturers, especially in the 70's.

Really like what you've done here. I rarely suggest anything on someone's model but I think there should be a hubcap missing. Would expect that after all that truck has been through. Just for some added fun.
