The decals in the Monogram kit are in great shape, at least on the sheet they are nice. Hoping they are not brittle and they will lay down nicely. These look like nicely detailed kits. I’m thinking about doing the box art vehicle for each, I just happen to have similar paint to match which seems to never happen! I did a little bit of work on the Toyota. Mostly test fitting the whole thing and started filling in a couple glaring gaps around the rear cab piece. The Datsun kit has quite a few parts, I was surprised to see that. I’ll probably use the kit tires, as I don’t have a lot of other decent alternatives. Not much progress. I am filling in the holes on the back of the cab since they look pretty large. Pulled the Datsun out of the bath, started filling in some gaps on the rear cab piece. Also started cleaning up some panel lines with my Tamiya scribing tool. The Datsun body looks pretty good.
