Mopar - D Posted November 11, 2021 Author Posted November 11, 2021 Thanks Jeff. I worked on the engine and so far everything in the engine compartment is fitting nicely. I’m still working on the interior to fit better and found my tires to use.
Mopar - D Posted November 12, 2021 Author Posted November 12, 2021 Worked on the interior and tail light lenses plus some painting.

Here’s my test fitting to see how it’s going to look. I’m working on how to build or find a air conditioning unit on the engine.

I’m starting on the chrome trim now. Again here’s some test fitting pictures. The paper on the top is to keep my dirty fingers off white.

gotnitro? Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 (edited) Nicely done Dan ! Really amazing how large these cars were and how they ever fit inside . That head on shot really shows how imposing these cars were designed, something sadly lacking now Edited November 16, 2021 by gotnitro?

I wanted to all the same color cars on it.
Mopar - D Posted November 17, 2021 Author Posted November 17, 2021 I finished the interior and buffed out the blue paint. I also did more chrome trim. Ended up having to respray the trunk and my tape peeled some paint off on the top of the front fender so more spraying tomorrow. Thanks for sharing your comments I appreciate them.
SuperDave Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Coming along nicely, Dan! I always enjoy looking at your loaded transporters. I look forward to hopefully seeing this at the HAMS show some day.

Mopar - D Posted November 18, 2021 Author Posted November 18, 2021 Working on the final details with the front windshield being my last hurdle to get done. It looks like my second attempt is going to work waiting on the glue to dry to see if it stays in place. Here’s my progress pictures.
