When I built my last 29 I had issues with the windshield frame being warped so I bought a second kit hoping it would have a straight one.  Any way, I used the second 29 body as a test body and it was laying around so I thought I would go ahead and build it.  I had some big ol meats in the parts box so I thought, what the heck.  I had to cut the axle housing down but seems to look ok.  Well see how it goes.

Body work has been done and I got some paint on the body.  Anita's Cobalt blue polished with Novus 2.  Engine is getting close to being finished.

Looking good

There is just something about a roadster with big meats hangin' out the back

I built this over 30 years ago

I'm waiting to wire the engine as I haven't made up my mind yet on the headers.  I had thought about cutting them off and having straight pipes coming off the heads.  Just not sure yet.

????     I'm not a fan of the kit style headers, so yeah, straight pipes might work!!

I'll need to check and see if they would be long enough if I cut them off.

If you cut the "elbow" off the headers, they look much better.

Thanks Chris.  Yeah I have them like this for now.  Just wanted something a little different.  I'll have to play around with it.

I like it, I like it a lot! Great looking tire combo.

Thanks man.  Yeah I think big tires in the back and little tires up front just give it that old school Hot Rod look.
