taking a break from building trucks, time to work on some cars. the super bees were one of my favorite muscle cars. I liked the styling more so than the road runners. this is the mpc kit that I have had for a few years. should be a fun build with comments and criticisms welcomed.

That should be a fun build Ken.  Going with one of the box art colors?

Note: you have two post showing on the same model.

I got the engine assembled and started painting driveline parts. having problems with my choice of colors. I have used the exact same color on a truck without problems. it seems the paint is way too thin and not laying down properly. I've tested it on a spoon and it's the color I'm looking for and it laid down nice but on an inner fender it gave uneven coverage. on to the chassis for now. I've never had trouble with testors paints before, not even the candy colors.

That engine looks amazing! If I may, can I make a tiny suggestion?

the bottom edge of the air cleaner needs to be white to represent the paper air filter.

Great detail work on the 440 six pack. Its nice that that engine came with this model. The didn't Hemi you to death like with every other Chrysler product out there. Do they give you a choice of the '69 Bumble Bee tailstripe on the decal sheet. I too am exited about this build.

I believe that particular kit comes with white and black “C-stripes” for the sides and also red, black, and white tail stripes on the decal sheet

I decided on gloss black with a mist of dull coat for the chassis. at one time under coating was popular. I got the driveline mounted to the frame. needs a couple touch ups. the rims have been blacked out tire tread still needs sanded. thank you all for interest and input.
