426 pack Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 (edited) My entry for the 2021 cannonball is a Revell/Monogram 1969 GTO judge body with a Revell modern NASCAR chassis and drivetrain The paint is a spray bomb Chevy Red with a few different shades of testors and tamiya brown and black with some primer grey and the iconic GTO orange showing through in some spots. the air dam is the Revell NASCAR rear wing that is modified to fit the front end of the GTO and the KC lights are from a Revell 91 Ford F-350 roll bar. The engine is from the NASCAR kit as well but with a few minor changes such as the supercharger from a clearly scale resin LS3 and it is painted a slightly more modern version of the original Pontiac blue. Mattilacken Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Came out great! A really good work on that beaten up body!
espo Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 I like the Grimy look of the finish. Well thought out components and the finish all looks great. Should you look up in the rear-view mirror and saw this you know you should get out of the way.

Love , Love, LOVE this build!!!
disconovaman Posted December 3, 2021 Posted December 3, 2021 Awesome finish! Very unsuspecting that this car could leave the junkyard under its own power, let alone be seen flying down the highway at high speeds! ??? Great Photography too!
