At 89AKurt's suggestion, I'll start.         https://www.lambocars.com/miura-jota/

The first Lamborghini hot-rod I'm aware of was the one and only Jota (based on the exquisite sidewinder-V12-powered Miura) built by Lambo's own development wizard Bob Wallace, on his own time, while doing the 9-5 for the company.

The factory sold the car off, as they didn't have enough cash to keep an expensive one-off toy hanging around...but it had already made its mark.

Sadly, it was destroyed in a crash.

The factory later built clones for clients.

That red Jota is fantastic. Some of the other cars here...not so much. To each their own I guess.

And if you're so inclined, you could 3D print one for yourself. I might do this one myself.

Here's an Espada that still looks like an Espada. The hood bulge is functional, needed to clear the Weber down-drafts and carbon air-box on the Countach Quattrovalvole engine.

Luigi Colani's Miura-based concept car from 1970: Miura sidewinder V12 drivetrain, articulated chassis hinged in the middle for steering.

Supposedly a functional prototype, though I've never seen it run.

The remains were "lost" for a time, showed up again in 2010.

The owner posted questions about it on the HAMB. Someone asked what the bleep that has to do with traditional rods and customs.

Awesome, thanks for taking my suggestion and running with it!  I know there will be more coming, this should be interesting.

Years ago, I needed to break out of a slump, so kitbashed the horrid Nitto Countach (which had nice tires, but not P7s) with the Tamiya Swedish S-tank, another horrid motorized kit.  I had the Monogram Countach kit, but traded it.  I'm stalled on a WIP of a Lambo hot rod.

Ahh yes...the dreaded Countank. Guaranteed to strike fear into the hearts of evildoers everywhere.   :D

Is that Cougar taillights on the 'Spada?

As for the second one, with the cambered wheels - Gag Me! ?

they might be cougar lights but given all the other work done on it I suspect their custom made. cougar lights are a bit bigger aren't they?

That's my point. After all the custom work that went into it, wouldn't it be ironic if they used junkyard taillights!

They go well with the JC Whitney headlights...

How about a street murchialago converted to independant throttle bodies and a manual gearbox. Its not on air, the front suspension had to be completely rebuilt to suit the doors as the wheels sit where the hinges used to be, but the doors still open in the factory style. It also has genuine gt1 kit. Built by driftworks in the uk from a lp670
