I got the interior completed and done up in all basic black. the kit came with gauge decals that I opted not to use. I guess the next step is painting the inside of the body.

the can of yellow paint said that it dries in minutes, took 2 weeks to dry on the body. the hood was painted gloss black then decals applied, followed by a dusting of dull coat clear.

Nice bright Yellow color. What brand of paint did you use that it wouldn't dry?

thank you David. the paint is an enamel from tru value hardware that claims dries in minutes. I have no idea what brand it is.

That color looks like a good candidate for Orbit Orange used on 70 GTOs.

yes it does now that you mentioned it Bill.

I got the body and chassis together and mounted the wheels and tires. also did a little work in the engine compartment. ready to start on the grille and tail lights. I'm liking the look of the yellow and black. wheels from the spares box. red line decals from a gto kit finish up the look.

Looking good! Nice job on the painted window trim and the redline tire decals. I also like the look of the black steelies with the yellow. Looking forward to seeing this beauty come together.

Even though that yellow looks more like the color they used for 1970, I still like it. Looks really good. ?

thank you Mike!
