Mopar - D
This is the White Frightliner DD that I built as a day cab back in 2010. It is also the first black and yellow truck that I’ve made into the Super Bee Trucking. After 3 moves there’s to many pieces that have come off to just reattach so I decided to do a rebuild on it. I also have a couple of extra cabs and interior’s in my parts boxes so I’m going to do the head light height correction and shorten the front axle. I’m also going to update the paint to. I’ve started on the head lights correction.

Rockford
You're very brave taking a good model like that to pieces. I'd be terrified of doing some irreparable damage and ruining it. It was a great looking rig to begin with.
kuhnj
Will be cool to see how this one progresses. Nice work so far.

Thanks Dave. It’s been 2 years since I moved to this is my last truck to fix from moving. This one had the most damage out of all the ones that I moved. Thanks Stephen most of the parts were already off the truck from moving 3 times and no repairs between moving. I have a lot of spare parts from this kit. I use this kit as donor for my resin trucks plus our Hobby Lobby was selling them and they would put them on sale for 40% off so I have a few extra ones in my stash. Mopar - D
Been working on the rebuild and it seems like when I built this one back in 2010 I didn’t think about cleaning any of the paint off the parts before glueing them together. So just about anything I touch comes apart which is good and bad. The engine just about fell out of it so I was able too repaint it. The front axle also popped off so I’ve shorten it to get the front tires where they should be. The fuel tanks were already off so I’ve repainted them to match the rest of the fleet. I was able to to get the yellow on the cab today. I’m hoping to get the black sprayed before our cold front comes in.

Mopar - D
Some more progress I’ve placed the decals and front bumper and fuel tanks are now attached. I’ll spray on clear coat as soon as the weather warms up here. I’m also going to build a MPC gravel trailer for this one.
Mopar - D
I was able to spray the first coat of clear coat and I’ve started on the MPC gravel trailer. I’m going to paint the dump body chrome like the rest of the fleet. I have also deleted one of the axles on the trailer to. gotnitro?
Outstanding work! Dumb question did you add a filler strip to move the headlights down ? The gravel trailer looks much better as 2 axle imo
