Sidney Poitier dies at 94

Sidney Poitier died at the age of 94.

Wife just told me that. She's a fan of some of his movies but I don't think I got too excited about any of them. I know he was a great actor and glad to see he lived to be 94.

To Sir With Love was good.

I didn’t know this,but he directed the very funny 1980 movie “Stir Crazy”,staring Richard Pryor,and Gene Wilder.

It's funny. You think about the man, his serious roles, his Oscars nods, his dramatic performances...then you find out he directed Stir Crazy!

Anyway. 94 years old, he had a good run. 

I really liked his performance in In The Heat Of The Night.

Yea he was a great actor.RIP.Man,we’ve lost a bunch of great people and the year isn’t even a week old.

My dad liked his movies. I liked him in the Jackal with Bruce Willis, and Richard Gere..may he Rest In Peace.

Sad to see him go, but he got a nice, long run. To Sir, with Love was my favorite of his movies.
