No Love for Al Unser?

Among the celebrity obits, I was surprised there's been no mention of the passing of Indy great Al Unser, Sr. December 9, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. I only found out a few days ago and can't find any mention on this forum. Regardless, he was one of my favorites. One of those classic, all-around racers.

Good question Mike. First I seen this myself. He was a good driver.

There was some mentioned on a couple of other boards. The Unsers were a favorite family of racers for me and both Bobby and Al Sr. left us last year.

I missed this too. I liked watching him race when I was young. He was one of the good guys. Relieved that he isn't suffering now. It was a life well lived.

Didn't hear about this either.  Bobby just died in May of last year as well.  2021 - big loss to the racing community.
