I’m not very good at WIP’s because I’m a slow builder. But, I’m working on a Corvette for my neighbor. It’s mostly stock, I’m wiring the engine, PE from MCG, a mix of parts from the AMT 70 LT-1, and MPC 74 convertible. Paint is a Krylon burgundy. It doesn’t show here, but I’m having trouble fitting the hood. It hits the windshield and doesn’t lay in place. Wondering if I should shave some thickness from the hood, or cut some off the windshield?

Without seeing them assembled, it's really hard to tell where the parts are conflicting with one another. If you could post some shots of the problem areas somebody may be able to offer some pointers.

Aside from that, everything you have so far looks great.

The hood may be warped. Since you have already painted it, I would go very slow with maybe a hot water bath and try and see if it can be straightened without damaging the paint.

Looking good! As far as the hood/windshield issue, maybe trim both so as not to take too much off any one piece. That windshield does look like it could use some slimming from what I can see.

Yeah the hood is a bit wonky. I tried to heat and straighten, but didn't want to stress it. It's hard because it's a 73 body and the rest is either 75 or 68 Vette. Still, I'm happy with it, and hope my neighbor will be too.
