Nice job on the green, the clear will make it pop!!

Thanks Mike. This green is funky, it looks dark and light in different places according to the way the light hits it. It's also has a kind of luminous quality to it. I like it. I primed with some Createx Autoborne White Sealer.

Great color for this car! You and Mike are going to force me into looking at the Createx stuff.  Do you buy it online?

Thanks. I get mine at Hobby Lobby. I was using mostly craft acrylics and decided to try the Createx. I still use some craft paints also, and the small bottles of Testor's enamels for small parts.

Yep, like James I get it at HL.  If I need a Createx product HL may not have I have found spraygunner.com has a good price on it.  Just me maybe, but I stick with Createx thinners, the sealers (primer), and slow dry mediums when using Createx.

My HL didn't have the Autoborne sealers, I got them from embellishFX.com, they are located in Florida and have fast shipping to me here in South Georgia. I also use the Createx 4011 thinner from HL.

My HL had some of the Autoborne on clearence so obviously that was the last of them.  I use the 4011 reducer  and a few drops of 4030 Balancing Clear.  The 4030 gives it a nice sheen ( a kind of satin look) and helps it lay down nicely

You're 55 is coming together James.  Once you get those big Ole meats under there it's going to look shape with that color.

Thanks Bob. I'm missing some parts from the donor chevelle kit. I'm going to check HL next week during the 40% off week, hope they have one.

I like that green! I just finished a build using Createx Pearl Turquoise, and really like how it sprayed and set. I will only use their products and mixing recommendations with their paints, as everything I have sprayed that way has gone really well.

Thanks. Yes I like the Createx paints, they do spray well and don't require much thinning.

Been busy the last few days cleaning up my property getting it ready for mowing season, and getting my vegetable garden planted. But got to the bench a little while this morning.  Going with flat black on the hood and bumpers. Also on the chassis components. Haven't decided on the interior yet, but may go black with it also. Still need to get another Chevelle donor kit.

Looking pretty good there James.  Yeah, I know what you mean.  For me it looks like grass cutting will start in a couple weeks.

Thanks Bob. Yea, I've got 2 acres with 7 pecan trees, 4 pine, and a giant oak. We had some high winds with some storms that moved through and I had limbs and debris to clean up. Grass and weeds have started growing, and I need to mow.
