Great looking interior detailing. From the color of the inner trunk, I would say you're going with clear on the gold exterior body color.

Well all I'll say is some may like it and some won't.  We'll see hopefully next week some time.

Great kit to work with and your gold base coat would look good with just clear. Candy red or green maybe?

Or maybe some Lemon Yellow transparent for a pure bright yellow kandy, I remember years ago when the ISCA National Grand Champion show car was a radically customized '57 Bel-Air hardtop that had a small block with a crank driven Potvin blower and everything that was bolted on the frame and body was all engraved and 24 Karat gold plated. It was beautiful and was done in the yellow over gold kandy, I hear that it's making a new round of the show circuit but has a gold pearl base for the yellow know and people say it looks like it's glowing under the lights.

I say go for it. I have often used actual cars I have seen at car shows as an inspiration for a model build and colors.

Love the color!  The interior bits are looking sweet too.  I have been experimenting with Createx paint and like it but need to improve my general painting skills but clearly you have got a good system of working with it.

Man oh man Buddy.  That purple pops against that white.  Nice paint.

Thanks Andrew.  I do think the gold interior with the purple is cool.  I like using the Createx Pearls.  Just a suggestion if you aren't doing it. Use their reducer and other enhancing products.

The color and paint work are great!!  Cant wait to see it with some clear

Thanks Chaz.  Yep, I'm anxious to get the clear on.  I've been having success with the original Future so thats what going on it.

That should really standout with some clear. Very nice even looking coverage.

Thank you David.  The clear might go in today.

Got the Future (original not the Revive stuff).  Took about 10 coats to get it to my liking. Will polish it after a few days of curing.

The dreaded foiling comes next after the polishing.  All the sub-assemblies are pretty much done but I'm re-evaluating my wheel choice.

Thanks for looking?

Looks great! I've used Future for securing small parts and on glass, what's your method for applying to the body?
