Smoke Wagon Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Maybe they’ll show the ‘49 Ford reissue next month.
gui_tarzan Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 I realize I am probably being a old "get off my lawn!" fogey but I don't care about the video announcements. I want to READ about them, not waste my bandwidth with video streams. 2

Might have to get another one. It's a fun kit! I dig the baja bug and Blazer slot cars, but without an offroad looking track, it doesn't make much sense. Do they have a dirt-looking track set available to use these on? The Divco should be done as a model, that would sell..
Motor City Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Here's an AMT Divco promo that recently sold for $209.88 on Ebay. A kit with opening doors and hood, and licensing for some dairies (and Coca Cola) for decals, and they'll have a strong selling kit. 2

I wouldn't even have a problem with it being a simple slammer model with crazy stance and wide wheels, as long as the body is stock. They could name it "Non-Dairy Screamer" or "Moo Juicer" Edited April 6, 2022 by Oldcarfan27

OldNYJim Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 That Divco body pictured immediately above is available from Jimmy Flintstone right now, for anyone desperate to build a slammer of one: https://jimmyflintstonestudios.com/NB277--1948-Divco-Chopped-Delivery_p_344.html It IS chopped though, but I suspect it's the same body as in that Testor's kit pictured above...
