Gramps46 Posted April 22, 2022 Author Share Posted April 22, 2022 I have had a blast going through my display cabinet dedicated to Le Mans racers. I just saw this Dino - Ferrari V6 from 1965. The kit was a Hasegawa that I added Cox wheels and tires to it. If I am not mistaken, you could build the kit either as a spyder or a coupe. It was meant to be the 1957 718 RSK of Maglioli and Barth but by using a Revell RS60 body was pretty far off. Like I said, confession is good for the soul. Old racecars was never that glossy as today, thats right. I used Tamiya primer then Tamiya TS 9 British green and then Tamiyas clear on spraycans. I stopped using clear over decals a long time ago,you may ruin the decals if the clear is to hot, I put the decals in place after the clear is on. Then I mostly use Johnsons floorpolish, I use a wide brush and seals the decals with it. Works very well I think.
