keyser Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Great story, cool lady. Author illiterate. She paid not payed, and she remained faithful not fateful. You see this all the time now. Nobody proofreads. But cool story. Thanks. 1
Classicgas Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Yeah editorial gaffs are far more common in the digital age than before.
NOBLNG Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Nice that she is sharp enough not to let someone scam her out of it.? 1

Yeah, one of the local TV news stations had a headline up for most of the morning about "suspected catalytic converter arrested after pursuit". Later in the day, I noticed that they added the word "thieves" to it. 1
mk11 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 Great topic for a story... too bad it was mangled. We've seen millennial marketing -ie whale tail on amt superbird. (maybe, like, throw noss on 'er too so she'll, like, go really fast) Welcome to millennial journalism, Mr Rhodes' favorite people. No solid writing skills at all but wow can they cover the latest fad. Auto journalism has been hard hit; got sucked into buying an issue of 'old skool rods' -pics are great but it, like many others, was painful to read Definitely not Tom Shaw, old Dad or Ganahl writing for these. 1
lordairgtar Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I never seen this car although l live 15 miles away from the town it's in. Hope to see it. 1

I get annoyed at all the internet “journalism” and obvious errors - the language in that whole 8 second “article” is horrible. With basically no cost to post these words, there is no reason to have an editor - as would the case be in old school print. Edited April 16, 2022 by Erik Smith 1
